Austin Entrepreneurs: Your business dreams can also come true!

Our last blog post was a letter of encouragement to small business owners; this post is a compilation of resources for small business owners, or those who want to own a business. Starting a business isn't an easy process, and maintaining it can be even harder if you don't have the right tools to keep it afloat. Not to mention, depending on what state you live in, it can be pretty expensive to own a business without any other income. But despair not! There is always help if you know where to look.

The official website for Austin Texas has a program to help small businesses develop! They offer assistance and mentoring for those interested in developing their business. There are also links on their page that help with relocating your business, getting funded, and help getting connected to other business owners.

If you already have a business, or you're just interested in connecting with fellow business owners, make sure you look at! They have a comprehensive of list of small businesses in Austin, resources for small businesses, and even coupons. There's also information about Zero Waste, the program to recycle more of what we make here in Austin.

And of course, we can't forget about the Small Business Festival! Held in four different locations usually in May, they're partnered with many flourishing businesses to bring solutions for economic growth. For not only connections but also resources, attendance is definitely recommended!
